I think I'm processing numbers and words differently.

Whenever there is numbers involved I am not able to say/think/hear the number. If I do it is highly likely for me to mess up the order or write a different number all together. But if I look at it and write what I pictured then it will be in the right order and I can write longer numbers this way too. Same thing for words. If someone tells me how to write a word. I have to hear it very slowly to understand. I don't feel like I was this way in the past, but I could be wrong
