My friend put a hoop in 4 month old nose piercing

My stud fell out a few days ago, we cant find the top. All my friend wears are rings, so she cleaned one of her hoops told me it would be okay. Ive been having some pain, my nose is red and now there is a bump inside my nose? Upon some research, ive learned i should NOT have let her put it in. Its way too soon, my nose has not had the proper healing time.. I clean it twice a day with saline and i try not to move it too much but im scared of an infection. Is there any advice on how to care for it? Someone on an older post suggested hot compress for pain and irritation. Ive wanted this piercing for years and im scared i might have to take it out. Ive thought about ordering more studs to put back in, but i dont get paid til the end of the week... please help me!!
