Mehek's brother had asked me, Aditya-a 24-year-old gym enthusiast with a muscular build-to accompany her on the overnight train to the city where she had her exam. Mehek, his 18-year-old sister, was a shy and introverted girl, clearly nervous about the upcoming test. Without hesitation, I agreed to help her out. Unfortunately, we didn't get confirmed seats-only one RAC berth in the 2nd AC coach-which meant we'd have to share a narrow, cramped space through the long, quiet night.

At first, we sat side by side, both feeling a little awkward as we shifted uneasily to avoid bumping into each other. The hum of the train and the dim light made the atmosphere quiet and tense. After some time, Mehek, clearly nervous and a bit shy, whispered softly, "It's so uncomfortable sitting like this... maybe we can lie down?"
