Can’t transport a 10ft board for my 10ft x 6in table - how should I build it?
Hey everyone, I’m new to woodworking and wanted to get your feedback on this design.
This is a narrow table (about 6” deep) that I’m building to go behind my sectional. The long board on top is 120 inches (10 feet), but I realized I don’t have a way to transport lumber that long.
I’m wondering, what’s the best way to use shorter boards without losing strength or stability? Should I split the top and join two pieces together somehow, or add a middle support?
