Why are Virgin Media allowed to win the rights to a major sporting event of national interest like the Ireland V All Blacks match and then go on to broadcast it in absolute rubbish standard definition quality (576i SD)

This quality dates back to the 4:3 resolution days when your Nana had an ancient Mitsubishi 20 inch TV in her front room.

Its especially noticeable when watching rugby as you try and work out which clump of blurry pixels is passing to who.

Interestingly rhen there's adverts every 6 minutes - If they're not willing to invest this advertising money back into new technology then they should be blocked from ruining the experience of a premium sporting event for fans.

Its cynical bullshit from a Conpany that is clearly not arsed and not being held to account.
