Why are Chinese roommates so dirty and inconsiderate?!

Been living with a roommate from China and they are beyond dirty and inconsiderate to our co-living situation. The person always takes up all the space in the fridge and freezer because they buy in bulk, not being considerate to the fact that others need to use the fridge also. This person has also never purchased any common kitchen supplies or cleaning supplies and just feels entitled to the dish liquid and other cleaning supplies I and others have purchased. This person cooks with so much oil and leaves oil splatters everywhere after cooking and leaves a clean kitchen in shambles. I’ve confronted this person many times yet they still keep doing the same thing. I’m not your maid, clean your shit and pitch in! Don’t know why Berkeley puts us in housing with foreign students. They should be put in housing together with other foreign students. They are so dirty!!! Is this part of their culture to be so dirty and inconsiderate of others?
