Pixel 9 Pro missing Data Transfer Tool (unable to transfer WhatsApp from iPhone despite every fix)

Hi! Looking for some advice.

I’m trying to move from iPhone to a Pixel 9 Pro, but WhatsApp transfer keeps failing. I’ve followed the official method (cable, QR code, etc.), and it appears to work, until I open WhatsApp on the Pixel and get “Unable to import. An unknown error occurred.

After lots of troubleshooting, I found that my Pixel is missing the system app “Data Transfer Tool” which WhatsApp relies on to import from iPhone.

Has anyone come across this before?

Phone is out of it's return window, so can't return.

Any help appreciated!
