Flashq q20ii won't work with GX9...

Today I bought the FlashQ Q20ii for the Lumix Gx9. I can only get the flash to work when I attach the Q20 with transmitter AND flash to the camera and open the onboard flash. When I attach a Godox flash, it just works without opening the onboard flash. I suspect this has somethingToday I bought the FlashQ Q20ii for the Lumix Gx9.
