Another computer recommendation question

Question

I need some help upgrading my wife's computer for her 3D printing hobby. She's got 2 of the things going virtually nonstop and does most of her own modeling, very simple examples compared to what this forum is used to. But I know nothing about computers. After a search on this sub, I took the minimum requirements from this link I found on another thread:

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/System-requirements-for-Autodesk-Fusion-360.html

The basic specs from that link:

  • Windows 11, 22h2;
  • CPU x86-64 processor with 2 performance cores, 4 threads, and 3GHz+ turbo clock rate;
  • 32GB of RAM,
  • Graphics GPU with 16GB of memory and dedicated/integrated graphics such as DirectX11
  • 500GB of storage.

Computers with those specs are pricing out at $2,000+, which is way more than I want to spend. My question is, where could I economize on specs to reduce cost but still have a system that won't freeze up on my wife's projects? We already have monitor, keyboard, etc.

thanks for any recommendations!
