Deciding on an itinerary with a baby: Xcel vs Silhouette

I’m booking a cruise for the end of January/beginning of February.

It will be me, my husband, my in laws and our baby. Our baby will be 8 months when we cruise. We love beaches and enjoy sea days! Although have never cruised with a baby before.

I know there isn’t feedback on Xcel yet, but it looks great. But the ports seem a bit more difficult and they’re tender ports. Wondering if it’s worth doing anyway, or if the ports of the Silhouette make more sense to do that itinerary.

Looking at:

Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, 4 sea days, aboard Silhouette.

Bimini, Cozumel, Grand Cayman, 3 sea days, aboard Xcel.
