Counter to being the IFV Paint/Missle Combo?

I noticed last night that I was not able to paint an attack chopper with the IFV and in another game was experiencing the same thing but it was a Jet.

Has this been fixed? Is there a module that can be unlocked for the helos and jets that do this?
