Violation of RO?

Hi all. I apologize if this question comes off as ignorant or silly, but I don’t know where else to ask as I don’t want my name attached to anything- so calling the police dept isn’t an option. I noticed online that my abusive ex has recent charges as of two months ago for multiples driving/traffic violations and also for violating an RO that someone had in place against him. All of the driving/traffic violations are currently active and he has court dates. However, the RO violation has been transferred with no further info. Warrant recalled. I guess my question is this- why would it be transferred? Is this a hanging offense if he’s a convicted felon with a lengthy record and a history of DV? (DV charge had him in prison for 5 years)… how long can something like this go on for in term of court dates and what not?
