The White House ballroom is a much needed addition

I’ll preface this by saying that I absolutely detest Trump and the fact that he’s doing this during a government shutdown, and without all the proper paperwork. But, I think that the White House ballroom will be highly beneficial in the long run. The White House has to pitch up large tents outside whenever they have a large event, and a permanent event room will eliminate that need. Many foreign dignitaries are even surprised that the most powerful country on earth has to pitch up tents for these kind of events. The White House has constantly been renovated over the years, and many people didn’t even the know the East Wing existed until last week. The East Wing was a fairly recent addition to the White House that wasn’t very well known or worth preserving. Whether the proposed ballroom design is the right way of going about it or not is debatable, but I believe that the White House is in need of an event room of some sort
