Lidocaine?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone would like to share their experiences with using lidocaine for vaginismus. I have trouble with entry even just pressing on the entrance causes pain. I’ve heard that lidocaine can help desensitize the body’s fear of penetration or at least help relax the muscles. Has it worked for anyone? What was your experience? Would it regress my progress if I depend on it too much?
