Glad to see so many people raise concern over the moderation standards in the "main" sub. I really hope we can muster up enough evidence to get some of the worst offenders removed.

For example, the mod LongJohnSilver (name used here only for transparency, not harassment) has openly mocked and ridiculed people who were advocating for regional pricing. It's a pretty standard practice in the videogame industry and clearly Embark saw the benefits of this practice since they've introduced it for many regions (with some caveats, but that's a topic for another time)

This mod has been suppressing posts on the topic from day one, under the guise of their Rule 2 (Frequency Guidelines). The rule is meant to prevent spam or low-effort repetition, but in practice, it’s been used to remove any new post or meme on the topic, even when it offered a fresh angle or met the “original content” standard. Meanwhile many identical posts showing deluxe edition preorder screenshots were allowed to stay up. Clear example of inconsistent or biased application of the rules.

I made a few memes on this topic but clearly the mod didn't like them very much and demonstrated how misinformed he is on this topic in the comments. My last meme (first pic) got removed for being low-quality. I posted it on the Steam subreddit and it got a lot of traction, then I responded to a comment on my post (second pic) and it got me permabanned on the main sub.

I’m not posting this to stir drama but to document a pattern of moderation behavior that seems arbitrary and unfair. Constructive discussion and evidence-based criticism should be welcome in any community that values transparency.

This meme and comment I made in the Steam subreddit got me banned in r/ArcRaiders. Concern about selective moderation and off-site bans in the "main" sub
