Hot take Assault Endeavor is balanced

Discussion

Ive sort of accidentally become an Assault Endeavor main (I dont like stacking two same role and so i tend to be "forced" into using him since he is my Assault main ever since i swapped from cat shiggy) so i thought id give my two cents on where i think he stands in the game.

While i do think he is very strong i dont think he is oppressively strong like most of the roster. In fact i truly believe he is the poster boy for where characters should be at ideally before they become too powerful(caveats inbound).

His mobility, while good and versatile, is also very slow comparatively to many others and very telegraphed. Also it has very little in terms of charges making you rely on special tunings to refill it.

His alpha is fairly standard and innoffensive. Nobody is complaining about fire panch

His beta was an issue before they fixed the main visual cue concern. However i do think they need to nerf the way it can trap people in a damage knockdown cycle(we have all been there and also seen the clips). The beta also contains most of the power of the kit. There is a noticeable change to the tide if a fight the second i misplace or simply miss a beta and have to wait for the cooldown. The threat of the beta is also genuinely his only defensive option against a good chunk of the roster.

His gamma is so slow to start it basically begs you to plow your fist into his face during it. Its only true use is for DAMAGE DAMAGE DAMAGE BIG BIG DAMAGE and sometimes dropping the power of the sun at your feet when a certain blue menace comes a melee'stringing.

His melee has, like all todo family in the game, really good forward momentum and can do some funny combo stuff with the alpha. But again its inoffensive because it isnt especially good for a melee.

So overall his kit is relatively tame. His only real offensive part of his kit is the damage of beta>alpha>alpha but even then you do NOT get to just line that up whenever you want and it isnt anything worse than plenty of similar character archetypes that have been present in the game nearly since release like red denki or cat shiggy.

I dont think he needs nerfs or buffs. I think he is perfectly acceptable as he currently is and unless an absolutely disgusting tuning build goes live sometime soon(im cooking when i have more tuning mats next season ngl) he probably wont ever need changed from this point unless the game's powerlevel overtakes him.
