Recommendations for a decent affordable 2nd-screen monitor? [United States]

I'm looking to replace an old dying monitor that I have. I have a budget of around $200 but would like to stick closer to $150 if at all possible.

My general preferences are being able to have a refresh rate that can reach between 100hz to 144hz and a 27" screen size. I don't need a monitor that's any higher resolution than 1920x1080 FHD; I don't need the monitor to be amazing, but I would like it to be decently capable as a stand-alone monitor for gaming and for general-use.

My dying monitor is an AOC brand 27G2G4 -- for anyone else reading: I would recommend completely avoiding this brand as its the only monitor I've ever had where the monitor itself began having unfixable flickering horizontal bands of dead-pixels at high refresh rates, which continually degraded over time. As of today I had to set it from 60hz to 50hz as even at 60hz after 3 years of ownership the dead pixel issue has worsened. It is confirmed to be the monitor itself as I tried using different cables (HDMI and DP) and even a different monitor stand only to have the same effect.
