I'm new and I LOVE the secrets this game!

First was figuring out how to cross the lava lake that always spawns on the right, getting obliterated by the floating eyeball that spawned when I tried to go back, trying again and realizing I could get away from it by going down and finding a shortcut to a deeper zone I'd never been to before. (A zone where I was promptly killed, lol.)

After that I explored to the left of spawn and found the tree with a gold buff inside which also killed me, so next time I ignored the buff tried to swim up through the water inside the tree and drowned. Then I realized there was a chance for the wriggling egg near the gold buff to spawn a BIG worm that I could use to dig a tunnel down, and I found a secret scroll thingy.

I wanna find all the secrets, but I doubt I'll be able to do that alone, so I'd be happy to have hints or directions to find more! Like, is there anything I can do with that thing that spawns in the lake to the right of the mountain? How do I get up to that area above the peak? My levitation seems to be JUST strong enough to get me below it, but no higher.
