Can’t a guy ask his dad for relationship advice without getting yelled transphobic things at?

Transphobia

I want to ask out a girl who happens to be trans. Big whoop. I didn’t even mention being trans in the conversation. I asked him for advice on how to ask out a girl, because I’m young and have never asked out a girl. But my dad, who’s literally transphobic (as in, the very concept of gender-affirming care frightens him) immediately asked if I was asking out a “real” girl. So I said yes, because she is real and not hypothetical, and I was actually planning on asking her out. Then he said “like, a girl at birth?” and my mom interrupted and told him who I was talking about. Then he went off about how he has no idea and trans people are not who we say we are and that NONE of us are fully transitioned and that NONE of us are valid and that everyone in my generation is delusional and can’t see what’s in front of us and that we’re like a fucking AI voice (I shit you not) because to be slightly okay you have to not be able to tell at all that we’re trans and that it’s so different. But it isn’t! Asking out a trans girl is NOT different from asking out a cis girl! I just need advice because I’ve never done this before and I want my dad to give me advice with women like he would if I’d always been his son, like what the FUCK. Either of us being trans is not relevant to the discussion at ALL. I just want to know how to treat a woman. He said “if it’s so similar, give her flowers. Yeah, right, like that’d work” HUH??? Is it not a huge stereotype that trans women LOVE flowers?? Am I missing something? No, no, I’m just missing that he just sees her as a fucking boy and sees me as a fucking girl. I hate this.
