How to challenge some behaviours
For context I am a new-ish band 6 in a ward and I have only been for 3 months. Not only am I new as a band 6 but also in the ward so I am working extra to catch up with everything, learn the routine, gaining clinical skills ecc. I am doing everything I can to get along with everybody, take care of my colleagues like I promised at my interview and create a peaceful environment, for the time being nobody has had anything to say about me. Although there are a couple of people who displayed some behaviours I am not very fond of: they speak their own language to each other all the time (it started off with a few sentences and I didn't care, now they do the whole handover), tend to take personal phone calls a lot, have a bit of an attitude sometimes... anyway nothing too bad but definitely not something I should ignore either. I feel like they are taking advantage of the fact that I am new and probably they understood I don't wanna be that person who complains about everything and everybody. How do I politely raise it with them without involving the manager or making drama?
