Gauntlet = life

Gauntlet is the best mode added to battlefield. It's a great option for something less chaotic than conquest/breakthrough, but faster paced than BR's. A perfect in between.

The 'eliminate the bottom 2 team' system works incredibly well, too. Similar to arena in League of Legends, its a clever way of shrinking the players that still allows for fast combat, where one death doesn't equal game over.

It isn't perfect. You shouldn't have to use a shield like in BR. But it gets the fundamentals right. The different game modes keep it feeling fresh. A ranked option would be nice.
