SN Only Marked Receiver Form 1

Hello all,

I'm trying to SBR a Mauser 98 in .45, but there's only the serial number marked on the receiver, not even the manufacturer. Has anyone run into this before? I'm guessing I'll also have to engrave the "CAL .45" on it since it's not the original caliber?
