Yellowing on 3ds screen

I gotten a New Nintendo 3ds and the top screen was yellow and I looked up online and there was 2 solutions for it that people kept saying; 1.) Mod the 3ds and adjust the screen brightness to max on a bright screen so the yellowing will go away 2.) Buy a new screen. So I decided to mod my 3ds and put the brightness on max and its currently day 2 on keeping the screen on a white background, any help on how to fix this faster or a better way?
