Why the victim complex?

I always see people complain that the general public is scared of their muzzled dogs (usually due to bsl or scavenging), which makes no sense to me. Better someone keeping distance from your friendly dog, than them going and harassing agressive/feerfull dogs. It’s almost always people with poorly fitted muzzles too :|
