Is there a better Fall body wash than Cremo Vintage Suede?
Just as the title suggests, I have yet to come across a body wash that is more perfectly suited for the fall season.
The scent of white moss, rich amber, and smooth suede combine to provide a sophisticated scent of outdoors with a light warmth (almost solar). The touch of warmth is perfect for the season and without relying on spice to get there. It provides a nice base without conflict to any subsequent fragrance selections, especially with any woodsy or timeless scent (definitely elevated the performance of my current reaching for Dior Homme 2020). The online talk is the body wash scent is a dupe for Tom Ford Ombre Leather but I personally would have to retest the fragrance becuase I didn't make the connection.
Le Labo Hinoki body wash is an extremely close second. Beautiful woodsy and light warmth combo as well. A slightly more natural scent than Cremo with a tad more sweetness but not the sugary type. The elevated skincare benefits are appreciated but the elevated price gives Cremo the edge. My search continues but even as the sample size grows, these top 2 remain at the lead.
No body wash post is credible however without reference to Harry's Stone. Nothing screams fall about it, but it has an addictive mineraly citrusy lather that provides such a delight to the senses that it above any confinement to a season and has a place reserved in my shower year round.
