Preservation of Club QSL Cards Found In Our Shack

Today we had a group of folks from our club at work doing some long overdo cleanup of the club shack.

We came across a nice size stack of old QSL cards from club-based contacts going back to at least the 70s, our club’s been active since the mid-60s.

There are some amazing cards in the stack and I would love to preserve them more than just being stuck in a drawer. I’m going to scan them all and create a digital library of them but want to save the physical cards too.

Does anyone have suggestions for preserving them? Any good lessons learned or other experience?
