Does the offer for 3 free additional months of NSO + expansion include family plans?

Wife got an offer saying that if she renews her NSO + expansion for a year, she’ll get 3 additional months added for free. What we can’t find anywhere though is if this would still apply if she went with the family plan. Anyone know? Thanks.
