As someone who have played since the beta, Here's (My) unbiased opinions
So I keep reading spam of people celebrating, or people pissed off about the changes.
As someone who was really excited and waiting for a long time for this game, I wanna share my unfiltered thoughts:
-I believe Owen is a nice character, he's a chill guy and supportive to everyone. But he does shine a little too much. The protagonist feels like a camera man at times compared to him, which is strange.
-
I find it utterly cringe when post-pandemic people try to lecture people about what a gacha game is and isn't. "It's not a dating sim" yeah but it's close enough, these games are created with escapism in mind. So a game with +80% female cast having an obvious affection for the protag is a form of escapism.
-
"You're parasocial and need to touch grass" I'm employed with a life outside of these games, but I'm still having fun self-inserting and interacting with cute girls. One thing doesn't have to erase the other.
-
I don't believe they need to erase or kill off every male character, I actually like cool males like Lucas + Luke. Their interaction with Beryl is fun and engaging.
-
As a guy, here's the most obvious fact I like the outfits of characters like Maribell, and people who bitch about those stuff are dumb and never heard of fanservice, a thing that was in the medium for decades.
Thanks for listening, downvote or upvote... These were my honest thoughts.
