Need Guidance on Career Growth and Finding Better Opportunities

Hey everyone,

A bit about me, I’m currently in my final year at a tier-3 college. Unfortunately, there aren’t many placement opportunities here. I started working really hard from my 3rd year and managed to land a full-time role at an Indian med-tech startup. I’ve been working here for about 8 months now.

My package is around 8 LPA, with 6.5 LPA fixed and the rest as bonuses and other components. Things are going well, but I feel like I’m not getting enough learning opportunities right now, mainly because we’re still in the pre-production phase it might take another year before the product actually goes to market. The company’s funding isn’t an issue though.

That said, I really want to move to a bigger organization where I can learn more and grow faster. I’ve been applying to Backend Developer / SDE 1 roles, but I’m not getting shortlisted for most of them.

What can I do to improve my chances? My goal is to secure at least a 25 LPA+ opportunity (or even if not that much, then at least in a reputed company) by the time I graduate.

Would really appreciate any advice or suggestions from those who’ve been in a similar situation!
