Important Q for Hiring Managers/HR Team
INTRO/PROBLEM
Hi, I want to ask possible impression of HR team and Hiring Managers if I put 10+yrs under Freelancing from 2012 until present... since Im doing Moonlighting/ Collective side hustles from that time on and off until the present... It is a wide span of different exps and skills from being student aids, to powerpoint designer, sales and marketing, real estate and the related... (maybe they feel that Im tricking them? or fooling them but I really trying to do as many hustles I could, not only for finances but to satisfy myself since most jobs are too boring at least the ones that Im accepted with)
EDUCATION BUT my college education is diploma mill... 😐 but... a filchi from a good elem and hs school... and taking law currently with a not so well known school... so ive been a working student my whole life and doing on and off multitasking a lot... (I hate Chinese culture so I dont want to do bilingual or be with any FilChi companies)
IF THEY DO BACKGROUND CHECK... the worst possible they may find out that i trimmed some blue collar experiences in the past... i worked at fast food for a brief, security guard so on... and many various blue collar and also a bpo hopper... my latest long time running work is 2yrs... so i tried my best to work on with my CV and only put relevant exps to avoid long pages... at the least I squeezed things 10pages with the best exps, and to front achievements... (im i wrong to cut those work exps that is so brief)
I dont know what to do. Im currently already at my early 30s, sadly I notify already my company that Ill be leaving until the end of this year. Company got so many redflags. The work is like internship for me. Tech is jurassic. Culture of gossips, crab mentality, insecure people and so many more. Salary not that okay. No increase. Im thinking to risk to be a VA maybe it will help me since other countries do not discrimate diploma mill college education and it is normal for them to see people who are doing freelancing their whole life?... Another option that Im seeing is to start my own small business after some yrs...
I feel dead. Please send helpful insights. Before there was this company, the president is very generous and actually provided a higher salary offer than expected on the spot of the interview despite not being excellent with Mandarin foreign lang, but the UP HR director and her team do not like me to the point of holding my official job offer even if the president was clueless and they lied to me a lot. Once the job offer was available, I refused because I dont want any headaches (with the entire jealous HR team) I settled for a friendlier company until tadah redflags... but happy ill be lasting 2yrs
Any helpful insights? sighs. Im not asking for anyone to roast me but something that may help me or impressions that any HR or hiring team may see in me so I can twist that perspective for a higher chance to be accepted?
Im eyeing actually for better company/ organizations for chief of staff or coo posts or VAs...
