Second year student accomodation

Hi, i am doing my student course in halls currently for my first year (liverpool hope crative campus). I have several options for second year accomodation but all of them only offer options for 2025/2026, calling results in them telling me to wait till middle of this month to january, i started looking in october because everyone said to start really early, is this right? Also when is the best time to start looking in terms of early bird deals or something of that sort, i would really appreciate the help.sorry if this is too long.
