Native version of Steam Client available for Apple Silicon?

I use Steam as a client for some games on a Mac with an Apple Silicon processor (M3). Some time ago, I read that a native version would be released, but my version of Steam is still listed as an emulation in the Activity Monitor. When is the Steam Client native version going to be released?
