Help reading chest x-ray please. Extreme pain.
28 year old female, 134lbs, 5 feet 2 inches, smoker, 2 weeks postpartum (had polyhydramnios). I’ve been complaining of pain around my right rib cage for about 2 months now. The pain is localized to one area but radiates throughout the whole right side and my back whenever I move or twist . It seems to be worse when laying down and trying to get up. I was diagnosed with bronchitis in February 2025 that I don’t think ever went away as the chronic cough persists. I’ve also been coughing up green and black/ brown phlegm, that on occasion seems to have blood in it for over a year now. I have no broken ribs but this chest x-ray doesn’t seem normal. Can someone please tell me why my chest X-ray doesn’t appear like “normal ones”. What is wrong with me, why am i in pain? I’m at a constant 5 for pain when not moving around but when I let My Doctor push on my ribs, I was in extreme pain for 2 days. One of those days I was puking and had a slight fever. I also have been having high blood pressure readings and seeing black dots in my vision but drs have not diagnosed me with pre-eclampsia. Please help- thank you.
