Smaller Maps [Devs Suggestion]

I have really been enjoying the smaller maps with less players. It feels like each unit has a higher value and is more decisive. I would love to take that concept further and make smaller maps by regions. Alliances of 2 players, maps of 15-20 players.
To me it feels more strategic and probably would keep players active for longer since it might feel less overwhelming.
