[Question] What is a solid everyday watch under AUD 800?

Hey everyone, I’m new to serious watches. I’m looking for a solid everyday watch (AUD 800 max) that gives me the “steel-bracelet, dark dial, diver/ sport watch” look (kind of towards a Submariner style) but without the crazy price and preferably in automatic. I don't need It to be too fancy, something that looks clean and versatile. I've heard that steel bracelets pull people's hair and I myself have very hairy arms, would it be an issue I will face too?
