Best fabric soft/plush/durable for blanket redo!

I am redoing the backing on my son's blanket. I'm looking for specific websites I can order material from and what type? I want to stay away from synthetic materials. Looking for something plush and soft that will wash well and last! I might be making this harder than it needs to be haha.
