DS-160 Blunder! Need advice

I have my H1B visa interview appointment scheduled at the end of December and biometrics at the beginning, in Chennai and Mumbai respectively. I realized that, I accidentally used the DS-160 confirmation number from my F1 visa application from 2022. I am surprised how the system allowed me to do that in the first place. I reached out to Customer Service through the visa scheduling portal and I got a generic reply of how one should be careful filing out and submitting DS-160 and I should bring the confirmation page of the old and new DS-160. I am in the United States currently and I have to travel to India in the next month for family obligations. Does anyone have any advice as cancelling and rescheduling it is not an option?
