Escape orbs in DxX

Since I've been playing DX, I noticed I hadn't seen any escape orbs at all. Which I don't remember ever running out of them playing Blue back in the say which I thought was odd, but wasn't too worried as I hadn't really needed them... Until I got greedy (or insane) on my first run of Magma Cavern and knowingly walked into a monster house, which immediately filled up with Magmar, And I'm a Treeko.... So RIP all ten of my reviver seeds I had prepared and I very much was more stressed the rest of my journey and went through 8 recruit meat shields. I was looking it up a bit but got extremely conflicting answers if it can spawn and in what dungeons, if it's sold or if I've just been EXTREMELY unlucky.
