Kobo vs Kindle Library - Books/Comics

I’ve been thinking of upgrading my kindle to a kobo when it starts dying, especially with the new colour e reader (the kindle one is so expensive!).

I’ve never used a kobo however so I’m concerned about the bookstore. Does it have the same stock and are the books priced similarly? Thinking about comics too as I thought it’d be good to use the colour e reader for that too :)
