Broke up with the person I love

39M - Oh man. After going through divorce, then many many years feeling sad and alone, 18 months ago I found my person. I’ve never loved so hard in my life and I always felt the same back. But she lied to me, repeatedly, and only owned up when I presented the facts. She hid alcohol use from me. She hid a continuing platonic friendship with an ex partner from me. She lied about her location on at least one occasion. I raised it calmly and respectfully each time, and made my needs for openness and transparency so clear but it continued to happen. So about 30 minutes ago I let go of the person I love more than anything in this world. Ouch.
