What’s Hanukkah Like?

Idk why this came to my head randomly (not Jewish) but for those who have been, is Hanukkah in Israel similar to what Christmas is like in UK/US?

Like with the ads, public decorations I get a certain ‘Christmas Feel’ around December, just curious if a ‘Hanukkah Feel’ exists or how it’s different.
