Alphas are not spawning in wild zone 20

Firstly i think now that this method was only for switch 2. so i was trying to set up a shiny hunting methods for the alpha pokemon in wz 20 following the steps from this video: https://youtube.com/shorts/qOuU2xI7wNA?si=DGMgW49YwlX9U-RW

After the step where the first two alphas are at the gate and you go back to find 2 more alphas none spawned for me. I thought maybe the switch can only have 2 alphas in this area so i killed the 2 and used a bench to reload the area. now no alphas are spawning. I reset, nothing. I go to other wild areas and they are still alphas there.

Did i permanently fuck up wild zone 20 or is there a known fix?
