What am I looking at??

My 16-year-old cat, who’s in generally good health, just threw up what I think is a hairball (seems like matted fur) but with a side of something that looks like plump grains of rice?? They’re not moving. She’s strictly an indoor cat and her diet is Purina EN. We don’t feed her any kind of people food. My immediate thought was WORMS but they’re not moving and I can’t imagine how she would have got them anyway. But what else could it be? She seems to be feeling fine, not lethargic, has a normal appetite, etc. I wanted to attach a photo here but it’s not allowed.
