Having trouble accessing network shares

I switched from Win 11 to Fedora 42 maybe 5 months or so ago and so far I am very happy with it. I am having an issue accessing my shares on my truenas server though. I have no issues at all accessing all my shares from windows pcs but on my daily driver laptop which is fedora 42 I can connect to my shares (smb) but I have no access to write or delete anything, I can only read files. My login on fedora is the same user and pw I have setup on my truenas and the same one I use on my windows machines too. What am I doing wrong exactly?
