Pay dancers using Venmo or CashApp?

I was at a strip club in Austin, and ran out of cash, and was headed to the ATM. Then the dancer asked me I had Venmo or CashApp. I asked her why she was asking. She told me that I could pay her that way, instead of getting cash and being charged a large ATM withdrawal fee. I was so surprised. Strippers take Venmo/CashApp now? Has anyone paid a stripper this way before? Are there any risks to me if I pay this way? What are the pros and cons of using Venmo/CashApp vs using cash? I need advice. Thanks!
