Free skiing advice
Hey guys, I just came up with an idea and wanted feedback on 1) if its legal or if there are any liability issues, and 2) if this is would actually benefit the community.
I was inspired by a reel of a physical trainer in the gym going up to a woman and asking if he could train her for the day. He provided some exercises for her workout, some form corrections, and motivation to get her through the workout. It was free and to do a good deed and also made for some good content.
Well I was thinking I wanted to do something similar at one of the resorts I frequent this season. From browsing all the posts on r/skiing of people asking for tips I want to help! Reading someone’s advice on Reddit only gets them so far (and often it’s not good). I won’t go into my background too much (former pro skier, current ski coach w various certifications), but I am qualified to give advice that I know will help them improve after skiing with them for a few runs. It wouldn’t be a lesson, but more I’d watch them, have them ask any questions or ask for advice on anything they want help with, and we’ll take some video both for analysis and for social media content.
Thoughts?
