A little help here?

So my friend has autism and one of his special interests is music, recently all of his liked songs have been deleted (could be fault of his own he doesnt remember) only on his Ipad that isnt connected to the wifi they are still there, he is wondering if theres a way to prioritise that version or back it up in a way that all the dates where he added them are still the same, thanks in advance
