help me with derby/tyrolain shoes

I normally wear 501s in black and the classic dark blue. Id like to get some lighter jeans and wool charcoal trousers soon. Don't wear the very oversized pants as id like to stay more timeless rather than trendy but i also wanna look somewhat modern. Like a mix of modern/timeless.

Id like a leather shoe thats versatile and would work with slightly slim/regular fit pants. At first i thought maybe i wanted a chunky lug sole derby, maybe i still do? But im also interested in moc toe/tyrolain versions. The colors i like are so far black or darkish wine. I really like the look of lug soles and think it helps the shoes ability to dress down. Any advice?
