Confused about dating

M20 here. I'm just confused about the idea of dating, and yep, I haven't been in a relationship all my life. I had a situationship but he was a big redflag and when we met irl (we started from reddit) he said I was really awkward. But I'm confused since all that time I'm the one who's keeping the convo going, tho maybe we just don't click that much after meeting in person. Now, I don't know how to interact with people anymore :(( I feel like I'm being too cautious (which is not so me) with my actions and talking. And honestly, I preferred online meet ups since then, like, waking up and sending pics of your meals, playing online games with them, sending "pics" again, and I'm scared now on meeting people in person. It's mainly because unlike in person, you can still have the time to think for what's should you reply in chat/call without them seeing you struggling. But maybe, I just still haven't seen the best of meeting people personally. How about yall, What do you think of dating nowadays?
