Priest says the words of absolution quickly in Confession - Still valid?
I've dealt with OCD and scrupulosity for a long time, and while it's thankfully gotten better over the years, certain things still bother me. I'm in the U.S., and I'll often go to Confession at a parish where the pastor who speaks English as a second language will say the words of absolution rather quickly. I know that the critical ones are "And I absolve you of your sins in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." But when I went today, he said it quickly and basically (without indending) left out "and of the Son." Was this absolution still valid?
I'm sorry for the question; just looking for some help :(
